How to Properly Recharge Over the Weekend: Guidelines for Quality Rest

We often eagerly anticipate the weekend as a time to finally relax and replenish our energy. However, sometimes it happens that the long-awaited weekend passes, but fatigue remains. Let's discuss how to properly recover over the weekend

First and foremost, it's important to remember that to avoid burnout and maintain motivation, you need to rest not only on the weekends but also throughout the week.

The best way to relax and recharge is to engage in activities that inspire you and bring you pleasure specifically. It doesn't matter whether you want to meet with friends, sit with a book in the park, or go to the mountains. The key is the emotions you derive from the activity.

For at least two days, let go of the principle of "I don't want to, but I have to." You won't be able to recover in just a couple of days if you do things you don't enjoy. Choose activities that allow you to relax mentally and physically.

Don't plan a large number of tasks for the weekend. It can require too much effort and lead to feelings of guilt if you don't complete the entire list.

Try to slow down and savor the moment. Allow yourself to spend the whole day in bed with a book or your favorite series if you feel the need.

Don't forget to take care of yourself and your skin. Enjoy a home spa: light candles or palo santo, fill the bathtub with warm water and sea salt. Apply a facial mask and don't miss the opportunity to relax with a gua sha massage. If you have the time, give yourself a body and scalp massage.
