Features of spring skincare

With the onset of a new season, the needs of our skin change. We'll tell you what to change in your usual skincare routines in spring.

Cleansing

With the warmth in the air, more dust particles appear, and during the flowering period, there is also plant pollen. This is a challenging period for people suffering from seasonal allergies. You should cleanse your skin in the morning and evening, but you should use gentle products because after winter, the skin is particularly vulnerable. Regular cleansing will not only wash away sebum and dirt but also allergens.

Vitaminization

In early spring, the skin may experience a lack of vitamins, so you can include serums with vitamins in your beauty routine. Vitamins C and E are especially beneficial for the skin. They are antioxidants, fight against premature aging, stimulate collagen production, and give the skin a healthier appearance. Since these components enhance each other's work, ideally, choose cosmetics containing both vitamin C and vitamin E.

Moisturizing

After winter, the skin tends to become dry and more sensitive. To get rid of such consequences, it is important to use a good moisturizing cream. Not only for the face but also for the body.

As the temperature rises, switch to lighter moisturizing products with a gel-like consistency.

Sun protection

In spring, solar activity increases, so the use of sunscreen becomes particularly relevant. Apply sunscreen or lotion not only on your face but on all exposed areas of the body. This will help slow down aging processes and prevent the appearance of pigmentation spots. If you spend most of your day indoors, you can choose a product with SPF 15. For people with fair skin and those who are outdoors during periods of increased solar activity, products with SPF from 30 to 50 are suitable. Take care of the skin around your eyes, and on sunny days, don't forget about sunglasses.

And remember, it is because of the active sun that you should refrain from powerful peels.

General cleanup of your makeup bag

Perform a thorough cleanup of your makeup bag by discarding expired products and items you no longer use. Clean all beauty accessories, and replace any with defects. Don't forget to clean massagers after each use. If you use makeup brushes or sponges, wash them at least once a week.
